AOMG Workshop on Pre-Start Safety Review (PSSR)
The ASEAN Oleochemical Manufacturers Group (AOMG) Workshop on Pre-Start Safety Review (PSSR) and Plant Visit to Synthomer Sdn Bhd was successfully held on 22 - 23 January 2026 (Thursday - Friday) at Renaissance JB Hotel.
The workshop was attended by 31 participants from 17 member companies and 2 speakers from ERM Malaysia.
The objectives of the PSSR Workshop were to equip personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to effectively conduct Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) in accordance with industry’s best practices and organizational safety standards.
We would like to express special thanks to Synthomer Sdn Bhd which they have hosted the AOMG group for a plant visit on 23 January 2026, as part of the PSSR workshop, as well as Palm-Oleo Sdn Bhd for hosting the dinner at Senibong Bay Seafood on 22 January 2026.
